Linda Winlsow Babb

Linda Sue (Winlsow) Babb, age 78 of Carthage, Mississippi passed away September 14, 2026. She was born November 20, 1947 in Sparta, Missouri, the daughter of Fred and Nadine Winslow.

Linda grew up on her family's farm and graduated from Sparta High School. She worked at Hagale Industries in Ozark and later was a cook at a nursing home. On January 9, 2005, Linda was united in marriage to David Babb. She and David lived in Carthage Mississippi and visited their home in Sparta, Missouri often. Linda was known as being the “fun” of the group and had many, many friends. She enjoyed taking picures with her friends and family.

Survivors include: her husband David of Carthage, Mississippi; her cousins, Janet Jackson and husband Kenny of Rogersville; her three dogs she loved as if they were her children; and her many friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 18, 2026 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Dr. Wade Bridges officiating. Burial will follow at Sparta Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. immediately before the funeral at the funeral home.
