Lella "Pat" Agnes Letterman

Lella “Pat” Agnes Letterman, age 93 of Sparta, passed away August 14, 2026. She was born September 20, 1932 in Rogersville, the daughter of James Allen and Ida May (Reed) Patterson.

Pat was a 1950 graduate of Chadwick High School. On December 8, 1952, she married Junior Paul Letterman. Junior preceded Pat in death on August 30, 1997.

Pat was a faithful life-long member of Oldfield Church of Christ. She had worked for Fasco Industries until her retirement. Pat farmed alongside her husband as they raised beef cattle for more than 50 years.

Survivors include: her son, Ronald Letterman and wife Fay of Sparta, daughter Connie (Letterman) Schreiner and husband Greg of Sparta; her grandchildren, Melissa Moore and husband Phillip Harris of Sparta, Matt Schreiner and wife Lancie of Sparta, Joseph Letterman of Sparta, Josh Letterman and wife Erin of Springfield, Miranda Theel and husband Bobby of Sparta; two special nieces, Donna Dodd of Lawton, Oklahoma and Iris Peden of Green Forest, Arkansas; and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Pat was preceded in death by her parents; and her two brothers, Robert Patterson and Paul Patterson.

A funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Carl Herndon officiating. Burial will follow at Sparta Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2026 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
