Lawrence "Ed" Montgomery

  Lawrence Edward "Ed" Montgomery, age 66 of Springfield, passed away January 26, 2025. He was born September 12, 1958 in Batesville, Indiana, the son of Lawrence and Geneva (Cameron) Montgomery.

  Ed worked in construction. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Ed was always surrounded by his friends, everybody loved Ed. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.

  Survivors include: his father; his brothers, Bob Montgomery, Mark Montgomery, Rob Montgomery and Rusty Montgomery; a sister, Missy Meyor; and his stepmom, Darlene Montgomery; a daughter, Jennifer Brake and husband Brian; grandchildren, Gavyn Davy and Quentin Brake.

 Cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory and arrangements are under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
