Lawrence Martin Clark, age 85, peacefully passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024, in Ozark. He was born on April 9, 1939, in Glen Gardner, New Jersey to Franklin and Francis (Warr) Clark. Lawrence entered into marriage with his beloved wife Margaret on April 8, 1961, in Fort Worth, Texas.

A dedicated family man and a devout Christian, Lawrence was cherished as a loving husband, father, grandpa, and friend. He was an esteemed member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and graduated from Phillipsburg, New Jersey High School.

During his service to his country, Lawrence served with honor as a staff sergeant in the United States Air Force from October 16, 1959, until October 13, 1967.

In his leisure time, Lawrence found joy in bird watching, attending church services, indulging in Ronna Ann's Cookies and Chocolate Pudding Cake.  He especially loved spoiling his wife and engaging in light-hearted conversations with everyone - embodying a warm and welcoming spirit.

Lawrence is survived by his devoted wife Margaret Clark; two sons: James Clark with his wife Lori of Gilbert, Arizona; Victor Clark with his wife Lisa of Jefferson City; two daughters: Melissa Krise with her husband Chris of Port Charlotte, Florida; Ronna Buttram with her husband Don of Springfield. He was also blessed with thirteen grandchildren: Jamie Buerger and her husband Jason, Nicholas Barnfield and his wife Callie, Lawrence Bowlin, Maggie Bowlin, Ashli Morgan and her husband Eric, Krista Kilian and her husband Caleb, Jacob Clark and his wife Anna, Erik Moore and his wife Kasey, Emily Moore, Victoria Henning and her husband Shea, Allison Harris and her husband Zach, Brandyn Buttram and his wife Amber and Dylan Buttram; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Franklin and Francis Clark; brother George F. Clark; and daughter Margaret P. Clark.

Lawrence will be remembered fondly for his kind heart and vibrant personality by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. May he rest in peace knowing that he leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will forever be cherished.

A private graveside service with full military honors will be on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri.
