Kevin Lee Scheel

Kevin Lee Scheel of Mount Vernon, Missouri was the son of Bill Scheel and Linda Kay Scheel Blevins and stepson of Edd "Cobb" Kyle Blevins.

He went to his heavenly home on Monday, June 17th, 2024. 

Kevin married Misty in July of 2000, in that union they had two children Kevin B. Scheel and Kaylee Scheel. Later in life he moved to Oklahoma and married Brandi Spears on July 2, 2011. In that union they had Dalton Scheel. 

He enjoyed life and loved to hunt, fish and being with his friends and family. He also enjoyed playing cards and BBQ's on holidays and weekends. He was a jack of all trades but mostly liked to work construction or being a mechanic. He also enjoyed working in the oil field. 

Cherishing his memory is his three children; Kevin B. Scheel and his spouse Shayna and granddaughter Harper Rose, of Miller, Missouri, Kaylee Scheel of Mount Vernon, Missouri and Dalton Scheel of Elk City, Oklahoma; his loving sister Shanie Merwin and husband Bill; his niece Taylor Lynn and nephew Nick Blevins; two great nieces Madisyn and Emersyn and a great nephew Masen and numerous cousins and friends.  

Kevin is preceded in death by his father Bill Scheel and mother Linda Scheel Blevins, and a step father Edd "Cobb" Kyle Blevins and all his eternal grandparents. 

"Dad, I will miss always having you as my hunting partner, best friend, and twin. You were the best dad a girl could ever ask for. I will love you forever and I will always be your little girl."-Kaylee

 "Dad, I will miss all of the hunting and fishing trips, and having a beer with you. I will never forget working side by side with you everyday."-Kevin 

"I love and will miss my dad and especially not getting to watch Kings of Pain with him."- Dalton

Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, Missouri and cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory.  

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at McConnell Cemetery in Nixa, Missouri on Monday, July 8th, 2024, with Pastor Jimmy Campbell officiating.
