Kenneth Michael Ray, age 65, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on March 17, 2026. He was born on February 26, 1961, to Neal and Shirley Ray.

Kent attended Parkview High School and lived a life full of adventure and passion. He had a love for skydiving, riding dirt bikes, watching NASCAR, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, and spending time at the lake. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family and grandchildren. Known for his generous heart, Kent was always willing to lend a helping hand.

He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Chase (John); his sons, Dustin Ray (Debbie) and Dylan Ray; his sisters, Sandra (Phil), Patti (Jeff), and Carla (Blake); his former spouse, Tracy Ray (Steve Bach); and his beloved grandchildren, Mason, Anderson, Jordan, Abigail, Judah, and Ezra.

Kent was preceded in death by his parents, Neal and Shirley Ray; his brother, Neal Ray Jr.; and his sisters, Sharon and Marsha.

Kent knew the grace and mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ. His parents taught him and exemplified the Gospel, and he walked humbly with the Lord at many periods in his life. Thankfully, Kent believed in the power of the Gospel, which teaches “if we are faithless, Christ remains faithful— for He cannot deny himself” (2 Timothy 2:13).

A celebration of life will be held on April 11th at 1:00 pm at Gospel Fellowship, 2401 S. Lone Pine Ave, Springfield, MO 65804.

Kent will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his kindness, and the deep love he had for his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Grace and Peace.

Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, Missouri.
