Kelley Ronelle Talent

March 6, 1964 — March 25, 2026

Ozark

Kelley Talent was born on March 6, 1964, in Marshfield, Missouri, the daughter of William C. Young, Sr. and Judith E. (Price) Young. She married the love of her life, Paul, on April 4, 1985, and together they built a life in Missouri, raising two children. She passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 12:35 a.m.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Talent; her children, Megan (Chase, husband) Colton and Brady (Raquel, fiancé) Talent; her grandchildren, Ellyana (8) and Raelyn (5); her mother, Judith Young; her siblings, William Young Jr. (Billy) (Lesley, wife), Karla Vipond, and Derrick Young.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Young.

Kelley moved through the world with an artist’s eye long before she ever picked up a paintbrush. Where others saw the weathered and worn, she saw character; where others saw the ordinary, she saw a painting waiting to happen. For years, she poured that creativity into a successful career as a graphic designer, but it was painting that truly captured her heart. What began as an accidental Pinterest discovery led to a journey of watercolors, canvases, and a passion she pursued every single day—most often in the quiet of the early morning. In a body of work that was always evolving, one thing remained constant: whether her style was meticulous or loose and free, she put her whole heart into every single piece—a reflection of how far she had come and how much further she still wanted to go.

She loved the outdoors, flowers, animals, and the people in her life. She was most herself with a paintbrush in hand and those she cared about nearby.

She is deeply loved, and she will be deeply missed.
