Kathryn (Wills) Parson, age 105 of Ozark, passed away December 28, 2021. She was born September 9, 1916 in Rogersville, Missouri, the daughter of Baxter and Mary (Finkbiner) Wills.
On April 21, 1938 Kathryn was united in marriage to Ward Parson. Ward preceded Kathryn in death on December 11, 1991. Kathryn and Ward farmed as well as owned and operated a service station for many years.
Kathryn was a graduate of Rogersville High School. On May 4, 2019, Kathryn was honored by Rogersville High School as the oldest living alumni. Kathryn was a lifelong member of Smyrna Baptist Church.
Survivors include: her sons, Marvin Parson (Nancy Parson) of Ozark and Bill Parson (Wanda Rogers) of Spokane; grandchildren, Brian Parson (LuAnn), Scott Parson, Marna Strahl (Shane) and Jodie Payne (Kevin Turpin); great grandchildren, Madison Troxler (Adam), Kaylen Strahl, Marlea Parson, and Keegan Strahl; a great great grandson, Jasper Sanders; two step grandchildren, Andrew Catterson and Tamera Peter (Cory); and four step great great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Reba and Harriett.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Pembina Cemetery, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor Dale Grubaugh officiating.
