Guestbook

I knew Karen and her family when I was a child. My dad was close friends with her dad from their youthful days in Nebraska City through the Morgan Hill / San Jose days. Walter's parents were sort of like Dad's "adopted" parents as well. He cherished them all and I've never known a lovelier family.

I was quite young when we used to visit Karen's family, but I definitely remember her smile, her intelligence, her good humor. The world will be poorer for her absence. Love and prayers to the family.

This is a sweet and sour message. It's sweet to know that she is with the Lord that she loved and worshipped but sour to learn that she is no longer here. She was the church treasurer when I pastored the church the family attended in San Jose, CA many years ago and was always current, active and gracious. She helped me immensely as a fellow worker in the ministry.
