Julianna Carol Baladez, beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend, passed away on July 10, 2024, at the age of 50. She was born on November 28, 1973, in Queens, New York, to Frank and Carol Boccanfuso.
For 21 beautiful years, Julianna shared her life with her husband, Richard Baladez, the love of her life. Together they built a family grounded in love and laughter, raising two daughters, Rianna and Jaymee, who were her pride and joy. Julianna’s world revolved around her family, and she poured her heart into every moment with them.
Julianna had an incredible work ethic, managing apartments for 19 years before dedicating many more years to retail, always working hard and always on her feet. She was admired for her determination, her dependability, and her willingness to give her best in everything she did.
She had a zest for life’s simple pleasures. Julianna loved cooking for her family, watching her “murder crime murder” shows, and coloring to relax. Her home was never without the warm companionship of her beloved cats—Major, Sammy, and Callie. Family barbecues were one of her favorite gatherings, and everyone knew she’d show up with her famous tuna mac salad, a dish made with the same care and love she gave to her family.
To know Julianna was to know someone with a kind spirit, a witty sense of humor, and a heart devoted to those she loved most. She will be remembered for her laughter, her warmth, and her unwavering love for her family.
She leaves behind her husband, Richard; her daughters, Rianna and Jaymee; her brother Johnny Boccanfuso, and her neice Mia Boccanfuso.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Carol; her treasured cat Major.
