Judith Ellen Williams
July 24, 1947 - January 20, 2023
On January 20th Judy passed away at home supported by her partner Wes Mitchell.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Ronnie Ray Kitchens, her son Cristopher Lindsey, and her Brother John Williams - Starzinger and parents John and Marybelle (Bader) Williams.
She was a mother to Ron (Lyn) Kitchens, John (Kelli) Kitchens and Mark Rodney. She was grandmother and great grandmother to Megan Kitchens-Seiber (Casey), Indy Kitchens-Seiber, John Kitchens II, Kelsey Kitchens, Drew Rodney, Hayley Rodney, Samantha Thompson, Violet Thompson, Amanda Rodney, and Augustus White. . She is additionally survived by her sister Marilyn Shipman and niece Jacqueline Ross.
Judy was a voracious reader and loved to spend free time researching her family's genealogy and their contributions to Christian County. She also loved to travel was fortunate enough to make several trips to Europe. On one occasion, she drove all night without a GPS to find long lost relatives on a dairy farm In Austria.
Judy was a fifth generation Ozark resident who proudly traced her roots to numerous founders of the community including John Hoover who built the original mill of which led to the city's founding.
Judy enjoyed two careers as both a cosmetologist and then in the mapping department of the Christian County Assessor's office.
Funeral services will be held at Adams Funeral Home in Ozark on Wednesday January 25, 2023, at 2:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Christian County Museum and Historical Society.
