Judith Arlene O'Daniel

Judith Arlene O’Daniel, 85, of Forsyth passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at her home.

Judith was born on May 5, 1938 in Greenfield, MA; the daughter of Lewis G. and Margaret (Demarais) Bailey. On July 20, 1957, she married Mr. Isaac Franklin “Ike” O’Daniel in Angola, IN. He preceded her in death on March 7, 2023.

Judith worked as a claims adjuster at United Van Lines in Fenton, MO for 34 years until her retirement. She took pleasure in gardening, sewing, quilting, and reading; but Judith considered her most treasured accomplishments to be raising her children and spending time with all her family.

Judith is survived by: a daughter, Joyce Gabel and husband, Randy of Forsyth; a son, Tim O’Daniel of Ozark; grandsons Kevin Gabel and wife, Megan of New Haven, MO, and Patrick Gabel and wife, Heather, of Union, MO; and one sister, Donna Sullivan.

Along with her husband, Judith was preceded by her parents.

A Graveside will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, where she will be interred with her husband.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Cremation rites have been accorded by Adams Crematory.  Arrangements are under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
