Judith Ann Harvill

November 1, 1938 — November 25, 2021

Judith Ann Harvill gained her angel wings on November 25, 2021 at the age of 83.

Born on November 1, 1938 in Christian County, Judith was the only child of the late Birchel and Evalee Gibson.

Judith graduated from Sparta High School in 1958 and married her high school sweetheart, Joe A. Greene in August 1958. To this marriage two children were born: Andrea Jolene and Joel Ray.

Judith was a homemaker for many years before being employed by Sparta Dry Goods; she later retired from Wal-Mart. She also sold Avon for 38 years. Judith was a fierce woman holding fast to her beliefs. Those of us who were blessed to be touched by her understand the imprint she left on our hearts.

In September 1988, she married Everett Loyd Harvill. He preceded her in death in December 2015.

Judith loved her Lord, her New Hope Church family, and her flowers. She also loved her family immensely.

Judith was a terrific mother and grandmother and was always bragging about being one of them.

Judith was preceded in death by her parents; father of her children, Joe A. Greene; her second husband, Loyd Harvill; a son Joel Ray Greene, and a step-daughter-in-law, Vicky Harvill.

Judith was a beloved mother of Jolene Huff (Tom) and daughter-in-law, Kris Greene; grandmother of Emily Smith (Curtis), Steven Greene (Emilie), Tori Davis (James) and Devin Huff (Erin); even prouder great-grandmother of Gatlin Jackson (Taylor), Kahlen Humble, Shalyn and Sierra Davis, Wade Greene, Wyatt Bradshaw, and Ryan, Jacob, and Morganne Huff.

She is survived by her step-children, Wayne Harvill, Floyd “Tody” Harvill (Diane), and Alesia Gordon; and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank special neighbors Randy & Clara Sparks and Bill & Marilyn Gilbert for their loving friendship and help.

A Funeral will be held for Judith at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home in Ozark. Friends & relatives are invited to a Visitation with the family one hour prior to the service, from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow services in Sparta Cemetery.
