Faye Martin

Joyce “Faye” Martin, 86, of Highlandville, Missouri went to be with our Lord and Savior on June 29, 2022. Faye was born in Stone County on March 8, 1936, to Earl and Mamie McEntire.

Faye was united in marriage to Kenneth Martin on March 19,1955. Faye and Kenneth owned and operated businesses in Highlandville until retirement in 1989. She has been a faithful member of Pleasant View Baptist Church, attending since 1955. Faye was a loyal member of the Highlandville Saddle Club. She also enjoyed baking pies and crocheting. 

Faye is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Randy Martin; her husband, Kenneth; three brothers, and three sisters.  

Faye is survived by her son Denzil and wife Sherry Martin of Nixa, Missouri, grand-daughter Robin Martin of Springfield, Missouri, grandson Matthew Martin of Nixa, Missouri, brother Bill McEntire of Republic, Missouri, brother Dale McEntire of Sacramento, California, and sister Ruby Davis of Sacramento, California.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Flood Cemetery in Stone County. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
