Jonathan Douglas Osborne

February 12, 1976 — November 30, 2022

Jonathan Douglas Osborne, age 46, of Nixa, Missouri entered peacefully into rest on Wednesday, November 30, 2022.

Jonathan was born on February 12, 1976, in Danbury, Connecticut to John Osborne and Gail (Singer) Osborne.

Jonathan received his law degree from St. Louis University. He worked for the Department of Social Service, Division of Legal Services. He loved what he did almost as much as he loved the people with whom he worked. It was more than a job to him. It was a family working together to try to help people as much as possible. Outside of work, Jonathan was involved in several various groups. He formed a close bond with many of the people he knew as well as became part of a strong support system.

He loved his family very much. He was supportive in all aspects to his wife as she pursued her education and was proud of what she had accomplished. However, he was especially proud of his two children, Abigail and Caden. He always said they were the best things he ever did in his life. He enjoyed all kinds of movies, especially family movie nights. He and his son frequently went to movies on the weekends. Some of the best memories were built when he and his son and daughter would take road trips and “poke around”. They went to concerts out of state, to visit friends and family, and many times, just for fun. He also loved to try any new foods and always wanted his kids to try them as well.

Jonathan overcame so many obstacles in his life. He was truly a person who was just happy to see others happy. He was an amazing husband, father, brother, son, and friend.  He was loved and respected, and will be missed by all.

Jonathan was preceded by his grandfathers and one grandmother. He is survived by wife Christy Osborne, children Abigail Kuehne and fiancé Joshua Staggs, Caden Osborne, his parents Gail Osborne, John Osborne and wife Julie, sister Jennifer Osborne, grandmother Hazel Case, as well as numerous extended family and beloved friends.

Memorial service will be held at 7 pm on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, with visitation beginning at 6 p.m.

Cremation rites have been entrusted to Adams Crematory.

Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
