John Allen Hendrix

John Allen Hendrix, age 61 of Sparta, died September 21, 2016. He was born October 3, 1954 in Wichita, KS, the son of Glen and Lois (Anderson) Hendrix. On August 26, 1977 John was united in marriage to Euella Dwyer. John was a brick mason and a member of Brick Layers Union 15. He enjoyed hunting and taking care of his farm. Survivors include: his wife, Euella Hendrix; his mother, Lois Hendrix; two children, Amy Nelson and husband John and Jaime Allen and husband Jason; four grandchildren, Cody Green, Kyle Green, Alisha Allen and Jasmine Allen; two step grandchildren, Savanah Allen and Tyler Nelson; and three siblings, Glen Hendrix, Pat Swindle and Geneva Hendrix. John was preceded in death by his father; and his other siblings. John's funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 23, 2016 in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will follow in Sparta Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, September 22, 2016 in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
