Jo Ann Underhill

Jo Ann Underhill Jo Ann Underhill, age 82, of Highlandville, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2011. She was born February 25, 1929 in Springfield, the daughter of Fred and Vera (Fullerton) Jenkins. On May 20, 1949 she and Edwill A. Underhill were united in marriage. She was a 1951 graduate of MSU. Mrs. Underhill taught school for many years, mostly as a kindergarten teacher in California. Upon retirement she and her husband moved to Highlandville. She was a 25 year member of Riverdale Baptist Church. Survivors include: Her husband, Edwill; two sons, Scott Underhill and Jennifer Sharkey, and Clark Underhill, all of Highlandville; six grandchildren, Ryan, Jessica, Dawnette, Andre, Micheal, and Lynsey; two great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Wyatt; three brothers, Bill Jenkins and Pat, Jim Jenkins and Kay, and John Robert Jenkins and Anne; and a sister, Julie Morris and Ron. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Mary Lou Hires. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, March 21, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Pastor Jamie Bilyeu officiating. Burial will follow in Highlandville Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 2:00 PM in Adams Funeral Home on Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor"�s choice.
