Jewell Ann Fletcher

November 12, 1947 — May 20, 2025

Nixa

Jewell Ann “Gigi” Fletcher of Nixa, Missouri, passed away on May 21, 2025, at the age of 77. She was born on November 12, 1947, to Merlin and Pauline (Wintjen) Stanifer.

Jewell graduated from Mansfield High School in 1966 on a Friday and married the love of her life, Arnold Evans Fletcher, the very next day on Saturday, May 14, 1966. Together, they shared a life of love, faith, and service.

Jewell’s greatest joy was her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother and found true happiness in being “Gigi” to her favorite three greatgrandchildren. Hosting family holidays, decorating her home, and creating beautiful memories brought her so much joy.

As a devoted pastor’s wife, Jewell served alongside Arnold in many ministries. Her favorite was decorating for church events—she loved making every occasion special. Jewell also worked as a cosmetologist for 53 years and was loved by many for her kind heart and warm smile.

She was a faithful sister and friend. After Arnold passed in 2021, Jewell found comfort and community at Higher Vision Church in Rogersville, Missouri.

Jewell will be remembered for her love, her faith, and the way she made everyone feel at home. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Jewell’s legacy is one of unwavering love, steadfast faith, and the quiet strength of a woman who gave her all to her family, her church, and her Lord. Her warmth, her laughter, and her generous spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Jewell is survived by her daughter, Amanda Evans; a sister, Mary Baty; three brothers, Carl (Jaynie) Stanifer, Joe (Pam) Stanifer, Jackie (Becky) Stanifer; five grandchildren, Chris (Dee) Spivey, Corey Spivey, Zoe Schrock, Zack Schrock, Shelbee Schrock; three great grandchildren, Eden Spivey, Ember Spivey, Kingston Cuevas.

Jewell is preceded in death by her parents; her spouse, Arnold Evans Fletcher; a grandchild, Sam Schrock.
