RIP Uncle Jerry. I envision you in heaven with dear Aunt Roberta and both smiling as always. Ya know how there are those select few people in the world who are always good-hearted? Always? That would be Uncle Jerry and Aunt Roberta. What an inspiration. My heart goes out to the whole family.

I will always remember uncle Jerry. He was always friendly, super cool, and had just a great sense of humor.

Brenda Beattie sent the following words to me in December of 2020. The words still ring true today. Long before people sent flowers to a funeral, they sent tears. They somehow captured their tears in a bottle and gave them to the grieving loved ones. It sure sounds like a lot more effort then ordering flowers. It was their way of sharing grief and giving respect. That's why I love Psalm 56:8 : "You keep track of all my sorrows, you have collected all my tears in your bottle, you have recorded each one in your book." No tear you have cried has gone unnoticed, no sorrow you have carried not recorded, everything that affects you affects your Father. He is the comforter, you are never alone, He loves you with an unending love.
To Matt and Rebecca, please know you are not alone. You have many friends and family that will be grieving with you. Thoughts, prayers and tears will be with you.
