Jeannie Kay Gow

December 27, 1944 — February 8, 2023

 

Jeannie Kay Gow, age 78, passed away in her sleep during the night of February 7, 2023. She was born on December 27, 1944, to Eugene and Elsie Watson. 

Jeannie graduated from New Madrid High School and went on to Minnesota to Obtain a license in Medical Technology. She decided to move back home to Missouri where she worked at the Potosi area hospital. Jeannie decided she wanted to be a teacher and went to teach at New Madrid County R-1 School District where she retired in 2009. In 2012, Jeannie moved to South West Missouri to settle down and enjoy life with her husband and family. She loved to watch old times movies, reading, and spending time with her husband Larry. 

Jeannie is survived by her husband of 37 years Larry Gow; daughter, Jacqueline Sproat and husband Jay, daughter, Larianne Reifferand husband Tom, daughter, Trina Beck, daughter, Laura Rogers and husband Jeff, and daughter, Dana Moore and husband Patrick; sister, Beverly Visalli and husband Michael, along with seven grandchildren. 

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations go to Judevine Center for Autism. 

A memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, February 13, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. - 3 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. 

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.

Cremation rites are entrusted with Adams Crematory.
