Jason Smith

Jason Daniel Smith, age 43, of Springfield, passed away Friday, October 2, 2020. Jason was born March 28, 1977, in Springfield, the son of Stephen Francis Smith and Sherry Lynn (Garrison) Smith. Jason was a 1996 graduate of Pleasant Hope High School. Disabled from birth, Jason was loved by all who know him, and made everyone he met his friend. He enjoyed country music, bowling, and the simple act of driving was a pleasure to him. He loved his family, especially his daughters, and enjoyed being with them. Jason amazed others throughout his life, which he lived fully. Survivors include: His daughters, AshleyDawn Garrison, and Delsa Dawn Smith; his parents, Sherry and Stephen Smith; aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends. His sister, Melissa Smith preceded him in death as well as his grandparents and great-aunts and great-uncles. A memorial service for Jason will be 3:00 PM Saturday, October 17, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
