James Michael Wade

James Michael Wade, 74, of Nixa, Missouri, passed peacefully on September 2, 2025, with his wife by his side.

James will be remembered as a husband, father, and grandfather who cherished time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Jody Wade; daughters, Jessica Myers and Jamie Spencer; and son-in-law, John Spencer.

He was a proud grandfather to Jerrica Collins and her husband, Eric Collins, Kayla Myers, Jett Spencer, and Lyric Spencer, and a cherished great-grandfather to Erica Collins, Ely Myers, and Brayden Cureton. His greatest joy was watching his family grow and being part of their lives.

James was a simple man who loved working on cars, spending time outdoors, and had a strong passion for military history. His adventurous spirit once even led him to jump out of airplanes.

James’ memory will live on in the hearts of those that loved him most.
