Jack Allen Hicks

Jack Allen Hicks was born on January 27, 1947 in Harvey, IL to Ted and Hazel Hicks.

He is survived by his wife Jo; son Jason S. Hicks and his wife Tricia of Bentonville, AR; son John A. Hicks of Nixa, MO; and grandson Connor Jack Hicks of Bentonville, AR.

Jack spent his entire working career in the service and protection of children, as a Social Worker, an Adoptions Placement Officer, Child Protective Services Enforcement, and as an Investigator for Child Care Licensure.

Jack received his BA from UCLA, a Masters in Education and a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Calfornia State University Bakersfield.

He will be deeply missed by all those who loved him.

At Jack's request, no services will be held. A private burial will be held at Welch Cemetery in Northview, MO.

Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
