Isaac Franklin “Ike” O’Daniel, age 90, of Forsyth, Missouri, passed away in his home surrounded by his family Tuesday, March 7, 2023. Born February 28, 1933, he was one of 13 children born to Robert Henry and Nannie Mae (King) O’Daniel. Ike proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. On July 20, 1957, he and Judith Arlene Bailey were united in marriage.
After 32 years of service to Chrysler Corporation in Fenton, Missouri, Ike retired. He had received his 50-year pin as a 32nd degree Mason and member of Fenton Masonic Lodge #281 A.F. & A. M. Ike enjoyed life as a farmer and was an avid bowler.
Survivors include: His wife, Judith; a daughter, Joyce Gabel and husband Randy of Forsyth; a son, Tim O’Daniel of Ozark; grandsons Kevin Gabel and wife Megan of New Haven, Missouri, and Patrick Gabel and wife Heather of Union, Missouri.
Preceding Ike in death were his parents and all 12 siblings.
A graveside service with Masonic and Military rites will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2023 in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor Dale Roller officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
