Huba Allien Rozell

Huba Allien (Morrison) Rozell, 91, of Chadwick, Missouri, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2026 at her home.  

She was born November 27, 1934, at Highlonesome, Missouri, to Bill and Matle Morrison.  She attended schools at Highlonesome, Ava, and Chadwick.  She graduated from Chadwick High School as salutatorian in 1952.  

Huba married Wayne Rozell on March 5, 1953.  They were blessed with four children.  

She worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 46 years and retired as Postmaster of the Chadwick Post Office in 2014 at the age of 80.  

Huba was saved and baptized at Mount Olive Landmark Missionary Baptist Church of Highlonesone and later became a member of First Baptist Church of Chadwick.  

She was active in the Chadwick community as a member of the Extension Club, Saddle Club, PTA, and Chadwick Historical Area Development.  

Survivors include her daughters, Vickie Goin of Chadwick and Sarah Grubaugh (John) of Ozark; her son, Tom Rozell (Kristi) of Miami, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Rintha Preston (Craig) of Chadwick, Taylor Grubaugh (Kelsey) of Ozark, Drew Rozell of Kansas City, Ethan Grubaugh (Emily) of Chadwick, and Sierra Sherrick (Tyler) of Stephenville, Texas; and great-grandchildren, Grady, Graham, Durham, Ryatt, Hayes, Rilynn, Ralstyn, and Holden. 

She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Doris Morrison; brother in law, Jerry Rozell (Linda); and many nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wayne; her son Dale Wayne; her great-grandson, Reysin; sisters Ortha and Luetta; brothers Dillion, Max, and Paul; and in-laws Lawrence and Thelma Rozell. 

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor Bryan Farris officiating. Burial to follow in Chadwick Cemetery.
