Harold Clifford Richart

Harold Clifford Richart, 96, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on July 9, 2026. He was born on December 5, 1929, to Russell and Daisy (Pearson) Richart.

Harold graduated from Turner High School in Turner, Kansas. After graduation, he began working for the Santa Fe Railroad in 1949. He worked there until retiring in 1985 as Signal Superintendent, a position he was very proud to hold.

On September 2, 1950, Harold married Gretchen Richart. They shared over 70 wonderful years together until Gretchen's passing in January 2021.

Harold enjoyed classic cars, was a member of local car clubs, loved fishing, and especially enjoyed living with Gretchen at Table Rock Lake.

Harold is survived by his three children, six grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gretchen Richart, and his parents, Russell and Daisy (Pearson) Richart.

Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa and cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory.
