Gregory Wayne Langston

Gregory Wayne Langston, age 68, passed away on June 16, 2025. He was born on May 5, 1957, in Springfield, Illinois, to Joseph Miles and Mary Elizabeth Langston. Though he traveled throughout Missouri during his lifetime, his heart always called him to the Springfield, Missouri area.

Greg was happiest playing with his beloved grandchildren, whom he adored. He was an avid fan of St. Louis Cardinals Baseball, loved fishing, and enjoyed taking trips to craft fairs and Silver Dollar City. He was also quite the baking and grilling chef. His life verse was Proverbs 3:5-6, which states, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, but in all ways acknowledge him and He will direct your path.”

Greg was preceded in death by his father, Joe; his mother, Mary; and his sister, Patty. He is survived by his son, Rich, and wife, Emily; his daughter, Kimberly, and husband, Eric; his brother, Rich, and wife, Beth; his sister, Linda, and husband, Louis; his sister, Carla; and many loving grandchildren: Asher, Owen, Oliver, Avery, Kenson, Kamden, and Hallie Grace.

Cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Funeral Home in Ozark, Missouri. The family will celebrate Greg's life with a private service at a later date.
