Grant was a 1994 graduate of Reeds Spring High School, where he proudly participated on the high school swim team as well as a traveling swim team, and band. An accomplished athlete, he also enjoyed bowling throughout his life.
On October 4, 2008, Grant married the love of his life, Jenni (Smith) and together they shared 17 years of marriage filled with love, devotion, orneriness and shenanigans, and one amazing kid.
Grant lived life with passion and creativity. He enjoyed building street motorcycles, playing the drums, crafting firearms, and spending time with his radio-controlled boats. An avid fisherman, Grant spent many weekends on the water with his brother, Garrett. Together, they turned their shared love of fishing into a side business, Darkside Bait & Tackle, providing handmade bait and tackle to the local community and online. He also cherished fishing at the new pond with his dad after his parents moved to Nixa, moments that held special meaning for him.
Grant was known for his quiet, witty nature and dry sense of humor. Though soft-spoken, he had a way of making people laugh and enjoyed playfully scaring others just to be silly.
