Glenda Gay Bookout

Glenda Gay Bookout, age 54, of Ozark, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2011, at peace after a two year illness. She was born October 31, 1956, the daughter of Leon and Nancy (Courtney) Gideon. On August 22, 1992 she and Chris Bookout were united in marriage. Glenda loved the holidays and always put the needs of others first. She enjoyed fishing, and spending time with her family. Survivors include: Her husband, Chris; three children, Shawn Gideon and wife Hollie, Clever, Nathan Hale and wife Bethany, Kansas City, and Joni Kilgore and husband Kyle, Ozark; a granddaughter, Olivia Kilgore; two sisters, Vickie Cobb and husband Tom, Rogersville, and Sherry Fowler and husband Clint, Philadelphia, MS; nieces and nephews. She was looking forward to the birth of a second grandchild, Abigail Gideon. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Stanley Gideon. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, August 1, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Rev. Gary Jennings officiating. Burial will follow in Shipman Cemetery, Sparta. Visitation will be from 6:00 "� 8:00 PM Sunday in the funeral home.
