Gisela Eva Cooper (Kapp) also known to everyone as Oma died July 4, 2019. She was born November 8, 1934 in Frankfurt, Germany. Her parents were Frederich and Elizabetha (Romahn) Kapp. Gisela was the middle child of five children and was the last surviving Kapp sibling. She married Lowell Kyle Cooper, of Pineville, WV in November 1955. He preceded her in death. She was the mother of three children, Doris Brown (Ransom) of Lansing, KS, Edgar Dean Cooper of Havre de Grace, MD who preceded her in death, and Claudia (Dia) Hodges (James) of Ozark, MO. She has 6 grandchildren Michelle, Matthew, Dean, Christina, Nicole, and Emily and 4 great-grandchildren. She was retired from The Coleman Company. She moved to Ozark in 1997 to be near her daughter Dia and granddaughters. Gisela loved to play various games especially bingo and was an expert at knitting and crocheting. She will be laid to rest in Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle, Pennsylvania at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 11, near her family. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to Parkinson's Disease.
