Gerald L. Burk

Gerald Lee Burk, age 85, of Spokane, Missouri, went to his heavenly home on August 9, 2022. Gerald was born on July 19, 1937, to Everett Benjamin Burk and Mildred Roberts Burk.

Gerald’s love for horses and mules started at a very young age. He broke countless horses and mules, who went all over the country. He also bred Quarter horses for years and later Haflinger’s and Mules. The love that Gerald had for his wife and his family was endless.

Gerald was preceded in death by his grandparents Trapper and Ethel Roberts, Lawrence, and Cora Burk; his parents Everett and Mildred Burk; sister Wilma Stults; brother-in-law Kenneth Stults; brother Gary Burk; stepson Tyler Alexander; daughter-in-law Shelley Alexander; granddaughter Kristy Burk; son-in-law Bob Massengale.

Gerald is survived by the love of his life Vicki Burk; son Keith Burk and Kim (Spokane); daughter Kathy and husband Dennis Moore (Nixa); stepson Jeff Alexander (Springfield); Uncle Bob Burk; Grandchildren Natasha and husband Scott Hankins (Kentucky); Keshia and husband Cody Klosky (Spokane); Great-Grandchildren Cole Aton, Bo Aton, Maddie Alexander, Emma Alexander, Mason Kimber, Dalton Klosky, and a host of nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers, the family has request that donations be sent to Seasons Hospice in Springfield Missouri.

Cremation Rites have been accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held for Gerald from 11:00 a.m -12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Adams Funeral Home - Nixa
