George "Sonny" Howell

George C. Howell, age 59, of Nixa, Missouri entered into eternal rest on January 16, 2023, at his home.

 Sonny was born on January 8, 1964, in St. Charles, Missouri, to the late George and Brenda Howell. On March 8, 1991, Sonny was united in marriage to Kathy Hall. They had 31, almost 32 wonderful years together. Sonny was a take charge man with vast interests of the world that we live in and even beyond. He was a problem solver and loved to use his mechanical abilities to fix anything that needed it and he used those talents to help others every opportunity he was provided. He continued his education of the world and how it worked by tinkering with anything he could get his hands on. Additionally, he had many other hobbies and passions including motorcycles, fishing, and collecting firearms.

 Sonny was that Uncle. He was funny and crazy. He made his family know that they were loved. He will forever be missed in the hearts of those who he loved so.

 Sonny was preceded in death by his parents and brother John A. Howell. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Howell, stepchildren, Scotie Steinert and wife Shannon and Ashley Tindel, grandchildren, Kylie Steinert, Madison Brown, Garrett Tindel, sister Shannon Mincks and husband Steve, brother Nate Howell and wife Leah, nieces Stephanie Curbow and husband Brandon, Breana Howell, nephews Seth Mincks and wife Abby and Zachary Howell and wife Katie, great nieces Everlee Curbow and Jenson Mincks, great nephew Bridger Mincks, extended family and beloved friends.

 A celebration of life will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at the American Legion Post 434 in Nixa, Missouri.

 Cremation rites are entrusted to Adams Crematory.

 Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
