George William “Bill” Allen

George William Allen, lovingly known as Bill, passed away on January 16, 2022, at his home.

Bill was born on May 20, 1932, in San Francisco to the late Leslie and Thelma (Callison) Allen.

In December of 1990, Bill was united in marriage to Sheila Rinaldi in Reno, Nevada. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1950-1953 during the Korean War.

Bill was a retired electronic engineer. He worked for a company called ITech. Serving a contract with the United States Air Force. Bill designed and developed the spy camera that was used in the stealth bomber that led to an early end of the Gulf War. Bill received special accommodation from the President of the United States for his work.

Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, January 21, 2022, at Missouri Veterans Cemetery. Bill will receive full military honors.

Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
