Gearldine Burk

Gearldine Burk, age 75, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 25, 2012, in her home in Springfield. She was born to Ronald and Gladys (Jones) Ward on July 11, 1937, In Reeds Spring. She was united in marriage to Bobby Burk June 18, 1955. She has been a member of the Ozark Mountain United Pentecostal Church, in Selmore. She helped her husband in his business, Burk and Sons Heating and Air, by being the book keeper. She also liked going on service calls with Bob, and would read her Bible she had since 1977, in the truck while Bob was working. Many times the customers would invite her into their home to visit. Gearldine enjoyed visiting with the customers, many of which became friends. Gearldine also helped another family business, Ad Tech Signs and Lighting. Gearldine loved her Lord and loved her family. She was always helpful and kind to all who knew her. Gearldine is survived by her husband Bob, sons Steve, of Nixa, Mark and Rhonda, of Bethalto, Illinois, sisters Norma Davis and her husband Bill, of Kansas City, Donna Browning and her husband Chuck, of Reeds Spring, and Charlotte Jones and her husband Wes, of Smithville. Gearldine is preceded in death by her Parents. A visitation will be held Friday, December 28, 2012 from 10:00 A.M. to noon at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Funeral services will be held immediately after the visitation. Burial will be at Eisenhour Cemetery, by the 65 Church. Memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the Ozark Mountain United Pentecostal Church, 4619 Selmore Rd. Ozark, MO 65721
