Gary Edward Lynch, 83, of Nixa, MO was promoted to glory when he went home to be with his Savior he loved so dearly on March 17, 2026. Gary was born to Edward and Dorothy Lynch on July 19, 1943, in Iron Mountain, MI. He married Beverly Ann Lynch on May 19, 1982. After her passing, Gary married Beverly Kay Lynch on January 8, 2000. He had to find another Beverly since he had ‘Bev’ tattooed on his forearm when he was in the Navy!
Gary grew up in Kiel WI. Over the years he worked in the cheese industry and lived in several states with his jobs. Gary’s honesty and integrity made him an excellent salesperson – many said he could sell ice to an Eskimo! He was a devout Christian, a faithful husband, and a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many. His wonderful sense of humor, ability to tell jokes, his love for Jesus, and sacrificial love were trademarks of his life. Gary loved to hunt, fish and travel – he visited 49 of the 50 continental United States. His heart was always in the Northwoods of Wisconsin where he was lay pastor at Land O’Lakes Bible Church in Land O’ Lakes, WI. He would frequently say those were the best years of his life.
He is survived by his loving wife: Beverly Lynch. His sons: Scott Lynch (Barb) and Mark Lynch (Dawn) of Sheboygan, WI, and Shawn Lynch of Sheboygan Falls, WI. Stepchildren Lara Haney (David), Wes Cassady, and Sarah Cassady of Oklahoma. Fourteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Gail Gahagan, Plymouth, WI, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a great-great niece and a great-great nephew. All of whom he loved dearly.
The family is hosting a memorial service which will be held at his home church, North Nixa Baptist Church on Saturday, March 28 at 11AM with Pastor Travis Edwards officiating. A celebration of life will be held at Faith Alliance, Chilton, WI on Saturday, May 23 at 11AM with Pastor Monte Follis officiating.
The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation for the care received by Cox South, Barnes Jewish Hospital and Mercy Rehab Hospital. Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life, he that lives and believes in me shall never die.” Gary did not pass away – he passed on into the arms of Jesus. As he liked to say God bless us everyone!
Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa and cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory.
