Gary Lynn Lokovich, age 64 of Ozark, passed away April 5, 2024. He was born August 19, 1959 in Butler, Pennsylvania, the son of Paul and Virginia (Wheeler) Lokovich.
Gary loved his family, God, and country. He served his country in the U.S. Navy for 7 and a half years. After which Gary spent his career working, as the electronics technician for the United States Postal Service. He could fix anything and passed his knowledge down to his children. Gary also enjoyed nature, hunting, and camping. He loved technology and was an avid movie buff. He loved listening to Prairie Home Companion and NPR. Gary was a very generous man and loved giving intentional gifts to his friends and family.
Survivors include: his wife, Laura Lokovich of Ozark; his children and grandchildren, Christopher Lokovich and wife Misty (Jacob, Adilynn and Esther), Aaron Lokovich and wife Sarah (Evelyn), Eric Lokovich, Benjamin Lokovich and wife Kaelea, and Daniel Lokovich and wife Rebecca; his mother, Virginia Lokovich; his brother, Larry Lokovich and wife Dottie, and his sisters, Beth Muti and husband Tom and Brenda Keith.
Gary was preceded in death by his father.
A memorial service will be held at Hope Church in Springfield at 2 PM on Monday, April 15, 2024.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Children’s Miracle Network or the Ronald McDonald House Foundation in Gary’s honor.
Cremation rites were accorded by Adams Crematory, Ozark.
