Fred Lucas Schupbach, age 45, a lifelong resident of Ozark, died Saturday, September 30, 2023. He was born June 11, 1978, the son of Fred Keets Schupbach and Mary Louise (Spoon) Williams.
Lucas had an avid love of music and food, and was a great cook. Known as always being kind, his family has been contacted by several people telling them what a wonderful friend he was to them. His favorite music groups were Black Crowes, Big Smith and Grateful Dead.
Lucas had found God within the last few years, and experienced the peace he had been missing.
Survivors include: Mothers that loved him so much, Mary Williams and husband Randy, and Linda Schupbach; his sister, Heather Coffman and husband Chris, all of Ozark; brothers, Michael Barr, and Brennan Barr; nephews, Logan Matthew Schupbach, Haden Luke Coffman, and Jacob Michael Barr; an aunt, Beth Rowland and husband Dave; and a cousin Jason Stutesman. Luke's father, Fred, preceded Lucas in death.
A graveside memorial service will be 2:00 pm Friday, October 6, in Schupbach Cemetery, Chestnutridge, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home. Cremation rites have been accorded by Adams Crematory.
