Frances Dean Bunch, née Anderson, passed away peacefully at Mercy Hospital on May 13, 2025. She was 83 years old. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, May 19th at Adams Funeral Home in Ozark, Missouri, with a private graveside service to follow.
Frances was born on June 6, 1941 in Springfield, Missouri to Fred and Ada Anderson. She graduated from Central High School. She spent over 30 years as a dedicated administrative assistant for Springfield Public Schools and over a decade helping local community members find job opportunities at Penmac Staffing. Frances wore many hats throughout her life—she was a strong supporter of the Glendale Falcons, a workplace safety advocate, a seamstress, a gardener, a bowler, a caregiver, a holiday enthusiast, an avid sports fan, a voracious reader, and a mother and grandmother.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters Hazel and Lee. She is survived by her brothers Jim (Linda) and Kenny (Shirley), her sister Berniece, her children Kathryn and Brad, her grandchildren Tanner (Lauren), Emma (Aric), Drew and Grace, and her great grandchildren Carson, Lyla, June and Jonah.
Frances touched thousands of lives during her life and career, and never failed to see the goodness and potential in each of them. She will be remembered as wise, hard-working, loveable and above all kind.
A funeral service for Frances Bunch will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 2025 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor Sheila Pippin officiating.
A private family burial will follow at Hall Cemetery at Mound, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
