Florence G. Morrison

Florence G. Morrison, age 87 of Ozark, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2011. She was born February 7, 1925 in Wewoka, Oklahoma. On August 7, 1948 she married John Dorrall Morrison in Yuma, Arizona. John preceded Florence in death in 2006. Florence enjoyed cooking and passed on her love of it to her children and grandchildren. Survivors include: a daughter, Dorrallene Morrison; three grandchildren, Janyth, Elizabeth and Joshua; five great grandchildren, Zakari, Aaron, Ryan, Ethan, and Joshua Jr.; a sister, Willie; two brothers, Raymond and Thurman; and her best friend, Ruby. In addition to her husband, Florence was preceded in death by a daughter, DeLois Morrison; her son, David Morrison; and her other siblings. Florence"�s family wishes to thank Janie Morrison for being a second mother and grandmother to them and for her unselfish devotion and care of Florence and John. Visitation will be held from 11a.m. "� 1p.m. Friday, November 25, 2011 in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Hall Cemetery at Mound, Douglas County.
