Florence Lorraine Alesi, 87, of Branson, Missouri passed away on February 06, 2026 leaving behind a legacy of uncompromising strength, unparalleled class, and a fierce, independent spirit that defined her remarkable life. Born on February 13 1938 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Florence learned early that a woman's power comes from her own resolve. Throughout her 87-year journey, she moved through life with a signature grace, proving that true femininity is not passive, but a force of nature. Whether in her professional career as an entrepreneur or in her personal life, she navigated challenges with a rare combination of grit and poise. She was a remarkable icon of strength and class.
Florence did not believe in waiting for opportunities or waiting for help; she built her own path, made her own rules, and stood tall in her convictions. She was the matriarch who taught her family that dignity is non-negotiable and that a well-lived life is earned through resilience and self-respect.
Classy to the very end, she was known for her timeless beauty, her signature style, her spotless Victorian-style interior design, a love of flowers and TCM, Breakfast at Tiffany's and a glass of wine, a vivacious personality, and her humor. She conducted herself with a dignity that commanded respect in any room.
She is survived by her loving family, Daughter Kimberly and Son Richard, Granddaughters Julia and Kristyn, and four great grandchildren Braydyn, Elyjah, Jax, and Maliya, who will forever carry her lessons of strength in their hearts. She was preceded in death by beloved brother Bobby, Aunt Franny, and Uncle Johnny.
To the world, she was Florence but to her most special people, she was Grams or GG. She had a cherished bond with her granddaughters. She will be deeply missed.
A celebration of her life and indomitable spirit will be held at a later date. In lieu of donations, the family asks you plant a flower or dogwood tree in her memory.
She was a force to be reckoned with, a pillar of strength, and the epitome of a lady. She will be missed, but her legacy of fierce independence will live on forever through her family, specifically the girls she loved so intently.
