Ellen Louise Heavin, age 69, of Crane, Misouri passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021. She was born to Roy D. Willbanks & Bonnie June Hatton in Mtn. View, Missouri. Ellen being the eldest of seven children. She married James R. Heavin in Mtn. View, Missouri on Valentine's Day, February 14, 1970. Of this marriage 2 children were born. A son James R. Heavin, Jr. who was stillborn on August 14, 1970; a daughter Cynthia R. (Heavin) Farley. She was blessed with three grandchildren Emilee, Gracelyn and Josie Farley whom she was extremely proud of. Ellen worked many years for Anjelica Uniform Company in Mtn View, Missouri. She later retired from Cambridge Labs in Nixa, Missouri as Production Supervisor. She liked to travel and loved spending time with Jim on Table Rock Lake on their pontoon. She loved floating the James River in front of their house on her kayak. She had a love for animals and had many pets. Her dogs Gidget, Pistol, and Jellybean. She loved her horses Kricket and Dancer. She spoiled them all equally just like she spoiled her family. Her pets were also her family. She had a green thumb and loved her flowers and vegetable garden. Her gardens were always beautiful of which she took great pride in. Survivors include her husband Jim of the home in Crane, Missouri; her daughter Cynthia (Heavin) Farley and husband Joey of Galena, Missouri; granddaughters Emilee, Gracelyn and Josie Farley; sisters Sharon Heavin of Ozark, Missouri, Pat Abbott and husband Dennis of Mtn. View, Missouri; brothers Larry Willbanks and wife Peggy of Fayettville, Arkansas, Tom Willbanks and wife Dorothy of Plattsburg, Missouri, Terry Willbanks of Springfield, Missouri, Kenny Willbanks of Seymour, Missouri; sister-in-law Barbara Nicholson of Mtn View, Missouri; brother-in-law Darrell Heavin and wife Cheryl of Spokane, Missouri and several nieces and nephews. Ellen was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Bonnie Willbanks; mother and father-in-law George and Mary Heavin; son James R. Heavin, Jr.; nephews, T.J. Heavin and Matt Abbott; and niece, Tammy Heavin. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, July 17. 2021 at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Visitation will be from noon until 1:00 P.M. immediately before the Celebration of Life in the funeral home.
