Edwin James Brown

       Edwin James Brown, age 79 of Ozark, passed away Monday, May 22, 2023. He was born June 26, 1943 in Downey, California, the son of Harold and Patricia (Kosinski) Brown.  

       On June 27, 1964 he was united in marriage to Mary (Shaw). Mary preceded him in death on February 15, 2018. He served his country in the U.S. Army before becoming self employed as a servicer of bank equipment. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and working on antique cars.

        He is survived by two children, Michael Brown and wife Karrie of Springfield, and Debbie Yake and husband Travis of Ozark; his grandchildren, Rhianon Brown, Sarah Low and husband Dillon, Samantha Brown, and Cole Yake; his sister, Kathy Clark and husband Dennis; as well as many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

        In addition to his wife, Edwin was preceded in death by his parents.

        A graveside service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
