Donna Lou Spivey, of Mount Vernon, Missouri, passed away on January 17, 2026. She was born October 13, 1944, in Carlinville, Illinois, to Bill and Jessie Sulls.

Donna married the love of her life, Vaughn Spivey, on November 15, 1985, and together they celebrated 40 years of marriage. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She enjoyed gardening, flowers, crocheting, reading, and watching birds at her feeders. Donna loved working outdoors whenever she was able. She was a devoted sports fan, especially of the St. Louis Cardinals, Kansas City Royals, Kansas City Chiefs, and the Chicago Bears. She shared a special bond with her twin brother, Don Sulls.

Donna was a hardworking and dedicated professional, spending 10 years as a CPA, 10 years in management at Carnahan, Carnahan, & Evans law firm, and 10 years with the Springfield Police Department as a records keeper. When her health was good, she attended Church of the Nazarene, Ozark and remained faithful to the Lord.

She is survived by her husband, Vaughn Spivey; daughter, Kathy Myers; grandchildren, Caleb (Becca) Myers and Kelby Myers and fiancé Cody Evans; great-grandchildren, Axel Joe and Lucille Faye Myers; her twin brother, Don Sulls; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister-in-law, Monica Sulls.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 24, 2026, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Delaware Cemetery in Nixa, Missouri. Pastor Steve Hicks will officiate.
