Don was like a brother. Rode me around on his bike when we were little. He was always at our house. He always claimed to be my favorite nephew. Always aggravated me in school by calling me Aunt Vergie. He was older than me so that always upset me. I will miss him so much.

Don was always ready to give hugs, and a smile. I know my dad always enjoyed hunting with him and there were some great memories. Derek said you could hear his laugh coming way before you ever saw him at Dayco. And when his father Otto and Don got together no one was safe from their pranks. He was a light in this world and will be missed but never forgotten. Love and prayers to family. Derek and Patsy Kothenbeutel
