Donald Rea Hedrick

Donald Rae Hedrick Jr., passed away on December 27, 2025, at home in Nixa, Missouri. He was born January 20, 1961, in Springfield, Missouri, to Donald Rae Hedrick Sr. and Florence Hedrick.

Donald was a broadcasting narrator and editor, known for his distinctive voice and dedication to his craft. Through his work, he lent clarity, tone, and presence to countless productions, leaving a quiet but lasting mark in the world of broadcasting.

He enjoyed working outdoors and spending time around cars. He had a longtime interest in car racing and was always ready to talk engines, projects, or the latest race. He also loved the outdoors and was proud to have worked at Bill Dance Outdoors’s as their narrator and editor for many years after starting his career at KY3 TV in Springfield, Missouri.

Donald will be remembered for his steady presence, strong work ethic, and the many ways he shared his talents and interests with others.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Donald and Florence Hedrick and his step-father; Bob Jordan.

Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa and cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory.
