Donald Lynn Bobbett, 83, formerly of Ozark, Missouri, passed away on November 15, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones at his home in House Springs, Missouri.

Don was born on April 25, 1942, in Nevada, Missouri, to Everett and Lela Bobbett. He graduated from Nevada High School in 1960.

From 1962 to 1967, Don proudly served in the Missouri Army National Guard as an Armor Crewman and Medical Aidman, earning an honorable discharge at the rank of SP5.

On January 26, 1969, Don married the love of his life, Barbara Joan (Tillery) Bobbett. Together, they shared 56 cherished years of marriage.

Don dedicated more than 30 years to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. After retiring, he continued to enjoy serving the public while working part-time at Lambert’s Café in Ozark, where he was well-known for delivering their famous fried potatoes with a smile.

A talented and passionate landscaper, Don took great pride in the appearance of his home and poured his heart into every residence he owned. His yards were a reflection of his care, diligence, and hard work.

Don was a member of Hopedale Baptist Church in Ozark. He was also a proud Freemason, serving as a member and former Master of the Nevada Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. Additionally, he was a dedicated member of the Order of the Eastern Star for more than five decades.

Don will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Remaining to cherish his memory are his wife, Barbara Bobbett, and his relatives: Jack and Sharon Pettibon, Elaine David, Martin Tillery, John and Arlene Morris, Pat Garrison, Matt and Amanda Garrison, Nick and Taylre Garrison, Elizabeth and Matt London, and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding Don in death are his parents, Everett and Lela Bobbett, his brother, Gene Bobbett, and his extended family: Carmen Pettibon, Ralph Tillery, Byron Tillery, Tom David, and Laura and Sherman Garrison.

A visitation will be held Friday 9 a.m.- 7 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Ozark (504 W Walnut St, Ozark, Missouri).  A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. at Hopedale Cemetery (5370 N State Hwy NN, Ozark, Missouri) with pastor Mark Arnold officiating.
