Dennis Eugene Hase

Dennis Eugene Hase, age 89, passed away on February 25, 2026. He was born on July 28, 1936, to Charles and Marie Hase.

Dennis proudly joined the United States Air Force during his junior year of high school and went on to serve his country for 16 years. During his military career, he was stationed around the world and served during the Korean War. He was honored with the distinguished award of Knight of the Blue Nose for his service. Following his military career, Dennis worked in maintenance and was a skilled and experienced welder.

On January 3, 1972, Dennis married the love of his life, Shirley Mae Hase. They shared many years together until her passing in February 2006.

Dennis had a deep love for animals and found great companionship in his dogs. His beloved dog, Lady, was by his side at the time of his passing and will miss him dearly. He also enjoyed life on his livestock farm, where he raised chickens, cattle, and goats. In his spare time, Dennis loved watching and reading Western novels and movies.

He is survived by his daughters, Juanita Hase and Suzanne Bignell; his brother, John (Tony) Hase; his sisters, Jean, Joanna, and Judy; and many other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Shirley; his son, Jimmy Dean and his siblings, Rick, Darla, Cheryl, Cathy, and Jerry.

Dennis will be remembered for his dedication to his country, his strong work ethic, and his love for his family and animals.
