Our beloved mother and sister, DeeAnn Bowman, age 53 of Ozark, went home to be with the Lord April 12, 2026.
DeeAnn was born February 1, 1973 in Salinas, California, the daughter of Scott Francis and Sandra Lee (Turner) Trimble.
DeeAnn was baptised at the former Eastern Gate Baptist Church in Ozark. DeeAnn never knew a stranger and had many friends. DeeAnn was a friend to everyone. She enjoyed being the victim of pranks and jokes at family dinners. DeeAnn enjoyed telling stories - and those stories will be greatly missed.
DeeAnn loved life and meeting new people. DeeAnn was strong willed and loved leading people to the Lord – especially the homeless and addicted. She was a prayer warrior and had a prayer book she wrote in often.
Survivors include: her sons, Christian Bowman of Jefferson City and son, Bo and Hunter Friend of Ozark and daughter Zaiya; and her brothers, Johnny Priest and wife Debbie of Ozark and Billy Trimble and wife Lori of Ozark, and sister Esther Hunter of Mesa, Arizona. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
DeeAnn was preceded in death by her parents.
Many thanks to the staff and residents of Spring Valley Health and Rehabilitation of Springfield Missouri for your love and care these last several months. She loved you all and considered you as her second family.
A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory and arrangements are under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
