David Lee Gray, age 76, of Ozark, Missouri, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026. He was born on February 20, 1950, in Shenandoah, Iowa, to Denzil and Francis (McGargill) Gray.

David graduated from Farragut High School in Farragut, Iowa, in 1968. On August 28, 1969, he married the love of his life, Barbara, and they shared 52 wonderful years together until her passing in 2022. Following graduation, he proudly served his country in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany right after he married Barbara from 1969 until 1972. Barbara lived in Germany with David where their daughter Trinity was born.

David spent over 30 years working as a lineman and engineer for White River Electric Company, where he dedicated himself to his career before retiring. Outside of work, he enjoyed a life full of adventure and the outdoors. He was an avid hunter, traveling locally as well as to New Mexico and Colorado, and he loved spending time fishing. David and Barbara also shared a passion for traveling, making it a point to visit a casino wherever their journeys took them.

Above all, David cherished his family. He was known for being a very likable and lovable man who formed lasting friendships throughout his life.

David is survived by his daughter, Trinity (Clyde) Hariford; his grandchildren, Dusty, Robby, Brandon, and Trenton; his great-grandchildren, Emily, Bailey, and Raelynn; as well as many longtime friends.
