Dan Cibert

Daniel “Dan” Andrew Cibert, 85 of Reavisville, Missouri, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Thursday, August 5, 2021. Dan was born May 7, 1936 in Ft. Dodge, Iowa. He was the son of Harvey and Inez Purkapile) Cibert. Dan loved working on cars for many years and even had his own body shop when still living in Ft. Dodge, Iowa. He began working on houses once the family moved to Missouri. Dan and his wife, Alice, loved to dance and spent many years “bebopping” at The Rose in Branson west (Lakeview at the time.) Dan and Alice married on January 16, 1954 in Ft. Dodge, Iowa. Dan is preceded by his parents; sisters, Arlene Hawkins, and Jean LaCaille; daughter Karen Decker; grandsons Clint Schade and Terry Wolf; and granddaughter Kimberly Wolf. He is survived by his wife, Alice (Brofer) Cibert; children: Allan and Janet Cibert, Vicki Allen, Angie and Terrance Schade, Julie and Craig Dudley, Dennis and Marjorie Cibert, Laura and Randy Walden, Shari and Russ Wilder, Tara and Ray Wolf; sister, Donna Brown; as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren; great great grandchildren and many friends. A memorial is scheduled for August 21, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at South Gate Baptist Church at 5701 S. Farm Road 157, Springfield, MO 65801. Cremation is under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
